“Im Restaurant zum Coesfelder Tor gibt es super leckeres Essen, vom typischen Rahmschnitzel über Thai Curry bis hin zum Dreierlei der Herrencreme (Herrencremelikör, -pudding und -eis) findet sicher jeder etwas! Man wird freundlich und zügig bedient. Im Sommer steht ein uriger, gemütlicher Biergarten zur Verfügung.”
“Ich kenne das Coesfelder Tor von Kindesbeinen an. Schon früher hat man dort Familienfeste gefeiert oder man ist zu besonderen Anlässen dort essen gegangen. Heute bin ich 39, wohne mittlerweile seit einigen Jahren nicht mehr in Velen, sondern im Ruhrgebiet, komme aber trotzdem immer wieder gerne hierher. Zusammen mit der Familie dort zu essen, hat immer was von "nach Hause kommen". Das Essen früher und auch heute hatte bzw. hat ein wirklich hohes Niveau. Geht man hier essen, weiß man immer, dass es schmeckt. Fantastisch! Die bedienenden Mädels sind immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es sind stets gelungene Abende dort und ich hoffe, dass ich noch einige dort erleben werde”
“Mein Dank an die Mitarbeiter des " Coesfelder Tor " für die wirklich, gute und freundliche Aufnahme in dem Haus. Habe vom 01.04. zum 02.04. in diesem Hotel übernachtet, am Abend in dem dazu gehörigen Lokal noch gegessen, was absolut empfehlenswert ist. Über die Zimmer ist nichts nachteiliges zu sagen. Frühstück, alles was zu einem frühen Essen gehört.”
